The UK-based studio has been "growing into two teams" the past year. An Enslaved sequel is something they'd like so they're "mentally prepared".
Could it be Enslaved 2? The odds don't seem favourable right now. "We've been growing into two teams for the last year," said Ninja Theory boss Tameem Antoniades. "We've got capacity to do two games." Enslaved released October 8th for Xbox 360 and PS3.
"The thinking from the beginning was not to assume there would be a sequel, just to put everything into this game. It's a new IP so let's not plan for a sequel because the chances are we'll only disappoint ourselves," added the studio boss.
"So we mentally prepared for that - we've not planned for a sequel. But if it gains some traction, I'd like to see something happen." The website says they're looking for a Lead Designer with "AAA title experience" and knowledge of "major console systems".
Ninja Theory is busy developing Capcom's new Devil May Cry title with a completely redesigned Dante, which is excused as it's his 'origin story'. Have you played Enslaved: Odyssey to the West? Check out our review to see what we thought.
