The demo will feature two very different areas of the game. The first section has the player fending off an Ork horde outside a munitions factory. The player will be armed to the teeth with six weapons, including the famed Bolter and the iconic Chainsword, allowing the player to experience both ranged and melee combat.
The second section will feature the Jump Pack as the protagonist Captain Titus uses the airborne ability to rain death from above.
The demo will be released on PC and Xbox 360 on August 23, and the PlayStation 3 on August 24. In that weren’t enough, players who preordered on Steam will get early access to the demo on August 18. Space Marine ‘Honour Guard’ community members will also get the chance to play the demo early on August 22. Gamers can still sign up at the community forum here.
