Apex Legends does a whole lot of things very well, not least of which is keeping some of its characters in a mysterious light. Bloodhound, for example, is a complete unknown, and we don't even know their gender. But what language is it that they speak in?
If you're wondering in what language does bloodhound introduce himself during the training session, you've come to the right place, as we analyse what Bloodhound says to offer a conclusive take.
What language Does Bloodhound Use?
Bloodhound does speak English for the most part, though they intersperse their usual speech with words from an entirely different language from time to time. If you've been playing Bloodhound, surely you're interested in where the character hails from, if nothing else.
During the character selection phase, Bloodhound sometimes introduces themselves as 'Blóðhundur', which is Bloodhound in Icelandic. Furthermore, the character sometimes refers to enemies as 'andskoti', which means 'devil' or 'demon' in Icelandic, further cementing what we've got going here. Bloodhound is obviously teeming with references to Icelandic and Nordic mythology (as if the raven wasn't enough of a giveaway), so it's not that big of a stretch to imagine that Bloodhound hails from Scandinavia or some other such locale.
Do keep in mind that none of this has been officially confirmed, of course, and the chances for Bloodhound to come from Iceland itself are rather low, given the fact that humanity has no qualms about colonising other planets in Titanfall's universe. However, this does give us some info about Bloodhound's true self, at least.
