While Warframe is available on Nintendo Switch 2 through Switch backwards compatibility, it still doesn’t have a Switch 2 version - meaning that the popular title is missing out on several performance enhancements. But now, there’s some actual news on when to expect a new version of the game.
Warframe Nintendo Switch 2 Release Date
In a new Devshort available on YouTube, creative director Rebecca Ford and CEO Steve Sinclair confirmed that they’re in possession of Switch 2 devkits, with Steve stating that they’re planning on showing gameplay footage from the Switch 2 version of the game in the near future.
“The Switch 2 is a very impressive piece of kit,” Steve stated. “Our tech leads are working on it and are very excited about it.”
UPDATE: **In the most recent Warframe devstream, developers showed off what to expect from the upcoming build of the game on Nintendo Switch 2 consoles, including but not limited to better loading times, higher framerates and a higher graphical quality.**
