It's only been a week since Blizzard re-opened the doors of Karazhan to send Azeroth's heroes in for a deep cleaning mission, yet they're already talking about what to expect in World of Warcraft's next update.
Patch 7.1.5 will likely arrive in a month or so, with the update hitting the test realms next week. In it, players will be able to participate in 6 'Timewalker' dungeons from the Mists of Pandaria days with their level and skill being scaled down to make sure these older instances still feel challenging either for players who witnessed them in their heyday, or for those who weren't around for the days of everyone's favorite panda island.
We'll also be getting smaller 'micro-holidays' alongside the currently scheduled events like Brewfest and the Darkmoon Faire. These small-scale events will immortalize some of the MMO's more memorable moments - like the opening of Ahn'Qiraj - to give players a little more variety in their daily activities.
While holidays like Volunteer Guard Day and Hatching of the Hippogryph were mentioned during the Blizzcon slideshow, the more detailed came from plans to have players return to Silithus to fight each other and turn in objects in the hopes of having their faction flag be flown over Ahn'Qiraj for the rest of the year.
There's a smaller update coming to the Brawlers Guild that will occasionally pit all those lucky enough to land an invitation to the event into the arena at the same time to try their hand at an encounter far more difficult than the 1-man bouts we saw in Warlords of Draenor.
Though it isn't a major patch like the upcoming 7.2 update, the forthcoming additions should tide players over until the eventual release of Legion's second major update.
