Apex Legends solos are coming to EA and Respawn’s free-to-play battle royale next week as part of the freshly announced Iron Crown Collection event.
Solos will be a limited-time mode this time around, Apex Legends enthusiasts being able to battle others on their own between August 13 and August 27.
Apex Legends Solos Iron Crown Collection Event
The brief announcement over on Twitter didn’t reveal much about the Iron Crown Collection event, showcasing a short clip of Apex Legends’ Bangalore dropping into battle on her own, as part of a solos match.
Apex Legends stood out from other battle royale titles due to organizing players in teams of three, cooperation being particularly smooth thanks to its awesome ping system, which ended up inspiring the system in Borderlands 3. It will be interesting to see how players react to solos.
Recently, Season 2 saw the introduction of a new character, among other things, while hopes of seeing Titans in Apex Legends were shattered when Respawn revealed it was no longer considering the option.
Apex Legends is free-to-play and out now on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
Next week, only one can reign. 👑
