The Specialist is Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2's secret weapon when it comes to its class roster. They can borrow abilities and perks from every other role, mixing them up and choosing whichever upgrades they prefer to keep Xenos and synths at bay. Moreover, they also have access to every weapon in the game.
There aren't specifics worth sharing about this class before the game releases, as it's pretty much a 'custom class' alternative for players who have cleared the campaign and levelled up other classes first. Therefore, the Specialist is bound to become a central part of truly competitive endgame builds for both high-level campaign missions and the horde mode.
