The Pathogen Striker (aka Heavy Brute) also returns from the original game, but chances are we'll see it more often in Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2. It's a more durable enemy than other Pathogen-mutated organisms, and this high-level threat will stop at nothing to crush any menace.
It's a bipedal foe that's faster than it looks and commits to "relentless pursuit" of Marines. Once it gets close, it starts swinging its club-like arms around, knocking down and smashing players until they're dead or it falls.
With no unique weak points, fireteams can only hope to slow and down Pathogen Strikers before they cause a carnage with heavy, focused, and sustained firepower. These brutes aren't just disruptors; they're among the most effective killers in the game.
