Publisher and developer Capcom has announced that a new Resident Evil Showcase will air on January 15, 2026. The event will bring us more details about the highly-anticipated survival horror game Resident Evil Requiem ahead of its release next month.
The short video accompanying the announcement wasn’t particularly revealing about what exactly we can expect to see during January’s Resident Evil Showcase, aside from a promise of “more information,” so we’ll have to be patient for a few more days.
Resident Evil Showcase Announced for January 2026
The game’s official website does confirm that the showcase will run for 12 minutes, so perhaps we’ll get an extended look at a longer gameplay sequence.
The marketing efforts for Resident Evil Village largely revolved around its now-iconic castle area, leaving a good chunk of the game to be discovered after launch while giving us a few pleasantly horrifying surprises.
There’s a chance that Capcom will take a similar approach with Resident Evil Requiem. So far, we have seen glimpses of Raccoon City alongside what could be the interior of the abandoned Wrenwood Hotel.
One way or another, we should learn more details about the next entry in the survival horror series when the Resident Evil Showcase airs on January 15, 2026, at 2 PM PT/10 PM GMT.
Resident Evil Requiem is set to release on February 27, 2026, when it arrives on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
