With everything Leon Kennedy has gone through, there’s surely no one more worthy of wielding Thor’s magical hammer than everyone’s favorite rookie-turned-zombie-slayer. Thankfully, there’s a mod for that.
Over the span of 28 years, Leon Kennedy has had the worst first day at work ever, tackled a village of parasite-infested Europeans, been repeatedly duped by a flirty spy, and had to keep finding enough cheesy one-liners to deploy after killing yet another viral monstrosity.
No matter what the job throws at our floppy-haired hero, he handles it and moves on to the next unenviable task. He deserves an easier time of it. A nice holiday to an island not infested with mutant creatures and demened cult leaders, maybe.
Mighty Leon Wields Mjolnir in Resident Evil Requiem Mod
But for now, Leon’s stuck in the ruins of Raccoon City and could do with any kind of boost. So, how about replacing his trusty hatchet with a weapon from the Gods?
NicolasSync’s Mjolnir mod does just that, giving Leon the Mighty Thor’s hammer to batter undead heads with in Resident Evil Requiem. It even comes with a lightning effect for good measure.
Okay, so it’s not giving Leon any powers, but he does look undeniably cool, wielding Mjolnir. I wouldn’t mind a cape and helmet to go with it, though. Can’t be any more absurd than anything Umbrella could cook up.
